What I have made here is a realistic timeline of how results usually pan out and what you should expect.

I know that everyone is in hurry to make huge transformations and the point of this post is to not deter individuals from what is possible but to educate them into what is more realistic whenever it does come down to what to expect with transforming your body.
Its going to hardwork regardless of who you are,it’s not easy. If it were, everyone in the gym would look amazing and that’s not the case.
What to expect is at the beginning of your journey is to lose some big time weight, you’ve been feeding your body with all kinds of different foods. If you’re new to tracking etc. expect to lose ton of water,we normally call this a flush. It’s not fat, its just water i.e. junk weight.
Next comes to the subtle changes, belts loosening up, clothes feeling a bit different, you start to feel better and that the progress is working. Now besides you noticing differences, here comes all the people around you noticing changes. Of course this feels great because it’s validation that you are on the right track.

You further see even more drastic changes, body fat levels drop, you stay focused and stick to the process i.e. “trust in the process.”
Everything is going great, you are on cloud!!! You feel great, you star to walk with your head up high, confidence is through the roof. You pick outnew clothes, you feel good and you look good.
Finally,it’s the final nail in the coffin. It’s your lifestyle, its like brushing your teeth now. What may of seemed impossible a year ago is the norm. People around can’t believe the willpower you possess. The determination to do this over and over again. You are disciplined. It’s is now your LIFE!

When I train to build muscle and make gains,I use different methods but most commonly I use to focus on the intensity of my training and that really brings my training to next level and to make additional gains and you can also use these technique while being in fatloss cycle also.
Experiment with these and change up your training a bit and have some fun.

Supersets, you can do this while gaining muscles, bulking, cutting and in fatloss and weightloss too. Its the most versatile form of sets( it can be said that ). This include pairing of two exercises that work on the same muscle group and doing them back to back with minimal or no rest (try to do this without taking any break) in between. They add serious volume to the muscle and force it to recruit those higher threshold fibers as the muscle fatigues to compensate for the lack of force production after fatigue sets. For example, pairing triceps ropepressdown with diamond pushups or bodyweight dips.
Dropsets are one of my favorite thing in training that I usually look for while doing gains and it includes performing a set with a given weight then dropping the weight by 20-60% and immediate performing another set. I usually do three sets, two drops of weight in total. This is a great way to add some serious volume to a muscle.
One+.5 reps is something I’ve been doing for quite some time on some isolated biceps and triceps work and have seen awesome results. They involve performing half a rep in between full reps of movement. For biceps curls for example, I bring the weight all the way up, lower to 90 degrees, bring the weight back up to a full constraction and lower the weight back down to full extension.
Thanks
Men and women of all shapes and sizes put their body under physical and mental stress while workout.
According to dictionary.com, a sport is defined as “an athletic activity requiring skill or physical prowess and often of a competitive nature.”

Trust the process
When you work out you require physical and mental strength and the power to do exercises. You may do hundreds of jumping jakes, skipping, pushups, burpees or chest press…There are thousands of exercises that require you to put your body through stress. Overall, you put your body through this pressure only to become more stronger, powerful, muscular and tougher. In essence you compete with yourself everytime you workout to improve your physical and mental capabilities.
Each type of athlete has their own strengths and weaknesses. Some may be able to deadlift hundreds of pounds but running ten miles might be a challenge. You’re not a marathon runner…you’re an exerciser.
Don’t disqualify the thought of exercise as a sport and you as an athlete. You train every day to get better and healthier…that is a type of sport.Cricket players, Football players, basketball players, runners other athletes all have the same thing in common; they utilize mental and physical toughness. Whether you take Zumba, dance, yoga, camps or any type of group fitness; you too undergo physical and mental toughness. It’s the same idea if you do strength training alone.
Most “sports” have a competitive side where there is a winner. In the sport of workout or exercise the winner is always you. However, some days may not be your best day. On Monday you may have done 25 pullups in 30 seconds, where on Thursday you may only do 20 pullups. Your power went down and you need to work to figure out how to gain more strength and stamina to boost your power to beat your best rep. In this sense, exercise is a sport.
Crossfit has made a name for fitness as a sport because they hold so many crossfit competitions. Crossfit combines weightlifting, sprinting and powerlifting at a high-intensity pace. During the competitions, Crossfit tests how much men and women get cross through various obstacles. But if you don’t do this types of exercise, it’s OK. You’re still an athlete.
Look at Obstacle Course Racing; these races are becoming more and more popular. Obstacle races are challenges; they focus on climbing, crawling, jumping and mental stamina. It’s a test of your fitness abilities. Again, call fitness a sport and you an athlete.
